Former Mamelodi Sundowns star enjoying football in France

Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder is currently enjoying his football in France as he is playing regularly for his team which is campaigning in the French Liege 1. The team has a lot of quality players and most of them are national team players for their different countries. Dolly on the other hand is also a national team player with Bafana Bafana who are coached by Stuart Baxter.

The Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder moved away from Sundowns following the report that Montpellier of France managed to meet the new buying clause of R25 million that was making all the news about him for more than 2 months. He is now in France and playing every week for his team although he just came back from injury.

At 23, Dolly has done enough in local football and this is the correct time for him to showcase his talent in Europe and also to play international football and meet new competition. He has represented both the national under 23 side and the senior team Bafana Bafana.

This is good news to Dolly and other players at Sundowns as the saga has affected some of the players who are also linked to moves to Europe and other continents. The likes of Khama Billiat and others are now relieved to find out that their team member will be going to Europe after a long discussion.

There has been reports about Dolly moving to Manchester City as the English giants have shown interest in the midfielder. If possible the move could be done but there are problems regarding the laws of the English football as South Africa is out of the top 50 countries in FIFA ranking and this only means he does not qualify for a work permit.

Mamelodi Sundowns have already identified a few local players who could replace Keagan Dolly and the technical team has been working day and night monitoring those players identified. It is an opportunity for other players to come in and experience the feeling of being part of Mamelodi Sundowns team.

Dolly has already said goodbye to his teammates and they were very happy and emotional at the same time as the team was very close. This means that the CBD combination has been broken but Percy Tau came in in the absence of Castro and did the same job that was expected from Castro.

Sundowns are the defending champions of the Absa Premiership and the CAF Champions League. This means that for them to defend those title they will have to be up to the challenge when it comes to quality players. If not they will have to settle for far less than they are expecting.

Keagan Dolly was one of the star players in the Sundowns team and has grown so much that he attracted a number of European team and also African giants. It is up to him to face the challenge ahead and do the best he can to prove that he has been always ready to move abroad.

Sundowns also released a statement regarding the Dolly issue and congratulated him for his chance to showcase his talent in Europe. He will be the representative for other Sundowns players and PSL players in France meaning that the door is now open for those who are ready and determined to make it big in football.

South African football will never be the same again with Dolly moving to France. Fans will miss him dearly and Bafana Bafana will benefit as his game will improve. The midfield role he played for Sundowns will change a bit but life goes on for the good. The young man did exceptionally well for South African football in general.

Keagan Dolly will be vital for the last two matches that Bafana Bafana are going to play against Senegal which are going to be the decider on who will be heading to Russia from the group which was very difficult for all the teams. Burkina Faso, Senegal, Bafana Bafana and Cape Verde Island are the teams fighting for another African team spot in next years’ world cup in Russia.
