SuperSport United have managed to retain the services of their experienced personnel in Clayton Daniels and Reneilwe Letsholonyane.
The two players have been rewarded for their contribution to the club, having been key figures in their respective parts of the pitch over the past season and a half.
Daniels, 33, and Letsholonyane, 35, were instrumental in Matsatsantsa retaining their Nedbank Cup crown last season, as well as their MTN 8 triumph and maiden CAF Confederation Cup final appearance this season.
SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews believes their extensions are not only a reward for their commitment but also due to their role in guiding the club’s youth.
“Yeye and Clayton have shown tremendous commitment to the club and have been heavily involved in our success over the last few years,” said Matthews.
“Players like them are few & far between. Both have had long careers and just seem to keep going and going.
“They both represent the ambitions and vision of the club, with fantastic performances and an eye on the development of younger players.
“It is a pleasure to reward their efforts with contract extensions.”
Both players’ current deals were set to come to an end in June, with the lengths of their extensions yet to be confirmed.
