Teams that will represent SA in CAF has been revealed .

The four teams who will represent South Africa on the continent in the next edition have now been revealed, with one side making the venture for the first time in their history.

Mzansi will have two clubs in each of the CAF inter-club tournaments when they get underway in December to accommodate the switch to a new calendar in September 2019, as Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates both look to try and win the CAF Champions League for the second time.

Sundowns qualified after clinching their eighth Absa Premiership title while Pirates finished second and secured their return to the top club competition in the continent.

Chiefs’ victory on the last day of the season means they will be back in action on the continent in the CAF Confederation Cup, and they will be joined by Free State Stars, a team that won the Nedbank Cup to earn the right to make their continental debut.
