Mamelodi Sundowns have begun assessing their squad for the new 2018/19 campaign, with new names being added to the wish list for the July/August transfer window.
As confirmed earlier this month, Toni Silva officially put pen to paper on a contract with Sundowns, after the Siya crew broke the news of talks and negotiations taking place between the two parties.
However, according to sources, Masandawana are not yet done with making new signings ahead of the new 2018/19 campaign, with Reyaad Pieterse, Teboho Mokoena and Abbubaker Mobara all being added to their transfer wish list.
The crew reported in last week’s edition of Soccer Laduma that Masandawana are tracking Mobara, as the player enters the final year of his contract with Orlando Pirates.
Sources have added that Pitso Mosimane has also identified SuperSport United’s Mokoena as a potential transfer target for the upcoming July/August window, after being impressed with the youngster’s work rate in the 2017/18 campaign.
It was also revealed in the past weeks that Sundowns have intensified their interest in Ajax Cape Town’s Mosa Lebusa, while also showing interest in bringing in their goalkeeper, Brandon Petersen, as well as SuperSport’s Reyaad Pieterse, and former KV Oostende midfielder, Andile Jali.
