Spain have one of the best squads at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, including players from Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and several other top teams. Here are the 10 highest-paid La Furia Roja stars!

Manchester City playmaker David Silva, who played a right-sided role against Portugal in the 3-3 thriller on Friday, is believed to be the best-paid player in Spain’s World Cup squad.

The 33-year-old, who recently a Premier League champion for a third time, is said to earn £220 000 (R3.5 million) a week in England.

Goalkeeper David de Gea, who made a bad error against Portugal, is on £200 000 (R3.2 million) a week at Manchester United, as is captain Sergio Ramos at Los Blancos.

Barca holding midfielder Sergio Busquets is fourth on the list with his weekly wage of £180 000 (R2.8 million), and he is followed by defender Gerard Pique on £165 000 (R2.6 million) a week, along with Andre Iniesta.

The 34-year-old veteran has left the Blaugrana for Japanese club Vissel Kobe, and it is unclear as to what he will earn in the Asian country, although it is likely to be around the same as he earned at Barca.

Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa is believed to be on a weekly wage of £160 000 (R2.5 million), and he certainly proved his worth in Spain’s opening game when he scored an impressive brace.

Midfielder Koke and defender Cesar Azpilicueta both earn about £120 000 (R1.9 million) every week at their respective clubs, Atletico and Chelsea.

The last player in the top 10 is playmaker Isco, who was sublime against Portugal. The Real attacker is believed to earn a weekly wage of £115 000 (R1.8 million).
