Bongani Khumalo penned a deal with SuperSport United ahead of the 2018-2019 season.
The crew recently reported that Khumalo was back training with the Tshwane outfit after leaving Bidvest Wits at the end of last season.
Khumalo’s agent, Glyn Binkin, has now confirmed that the defender has put pen-to-paper on a one-year deal at SuperSport, with a one-year option.
This will be Khumalo’s third stint with SuperSport, having first joined the club from University of Pretoria in 2007 while he returned to club in 2015 from Tottenham Hotspur.
The 31-year-old notched up 19 appearances across all competitions for the Clever Boys last season.
