Buccaneers confirmed Luvuyo is nearing full recovery.

Orlando Pirates have provided an injury update on some of their star players ahead of a crucial MTN8 clash against SuperSport United this Saturday.

On their official website, the Buccaneers confirmed that winger Luvuyo Memela who missed a couple of games towards the end of the season after picking up a knee strain in 1-0 defeat to Cape Town City is nearing full recovery.

Pirates have also confirmed that new signing goalkeeper Brillant Khuzwayo’s ankle surgery was a success and that the goalkeeper is undergoing rehabilitation under the watchful eye of the Bucs medical staff.

Speedy winger Thabo Qalinge is currently undergoing physiotherapy following an injury to his adductor muscles.

The Sea Robbers host Matsatsantsa a Pitori at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday evening with the game set to start at 19h30.
