Mamelodi Sundowns will need to over-turn a first leg defeat when they host Cape Town City in the second leg of their MTN8 semi-final this afternoon.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 15h00.

Pitso Mosimane fielded a somewhat second string side in Cape Town in anticipation with one eye on their clash with Horoya in the CAF Champions League on Tuesday, which they drew and they were eventually eliminated.
Now that the CAF Champions League is out of the way, the Tshwane giants are expected to go all out to rescue the tie out of City’s hands for a place in the MTN8 Final.
Meanwhile, the Mother City side will feel confident coming into the second leg knowing that they did not concede at home in the first leg.

The Citizens were losing finalists in last year’s edition of the MTN8 Cup and will be itching to go all the way again and rectify their mistakes to lift the trophy in what could be a repeat of last year’s final.
The winner will face defending champions SuperSport United, who eliminated Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday.
