A former SuperSport United defender has joined a club in the ABC Motsepe League for a fresh start in his career.

After parting ways with Matsatsantsa at the end of last season, Thabo Moloi struggled to get a new club in the PSL or in the NFD.

The 24-year-old defender has joined Pretoria Callies in Mzansi’s third tier as he aims to resurrect his career.

The right-back, who came through the junior ranks at Matsatsantsa before being promoted to the first team at the Tshwane outfit in 2013, had a promising start to his professional career.

However, things have not worked out well for the player in Mzansi’s top-flight, which has led to him joining a club in the third tier.

“Thabo Moloi has signed for an ABC Motsepe League team called Pretoria Callies,” said the source.

Moloi has previously also been on the books of AmaZulu and the University of Pretoria in his career.
