Former Kaizer Chiefs striker, Michelle Katsvairo, will be back playing in the PSL, after signing a deal with Free State Stars.
It was revealed by the Siya crew last week that the Zimbabwean has been back in South Africa and training with Ea Lla Koto, after parting ways with CAPS United.
Sources close to the Bethlehem outfit have confirmed that the 28-year-old has been signed by the club.
“Michelle has signed with Free state stats. It is a two-year deal puls an option,” confirmed the source.
Contacted for comment, Katsvairo’s agent Michael Ngobeni from M Sport Management confirmed the player’s deal but referred the Siya crew’s enquiries to the club.
“Yes, Mich has signed but you must talk to Free State Stars for further details. What I can tell you is that the player is hungry and has a lot to prove,” confirmed Ngobeni.
Stars general manager, Rantsi Mokoena, had been yet to reply to the Siya crew’s enquiry about the player’s deal at the time of publishing.
As reported, Stars have also strengthened the team with signing Botswana international defender Simisani Mathumo from Township Rollers.
