Madidingwe clash with Highlands this afternoon.

Highlands Park and Black Leopards will both be gunning for their first victories of the 2019/20 Absa Premiership campaign when they clash on Saturday afternoon at Thohoyandou Stadium. 

kick off is at 15h00. The Lions of the North are in high spirits after reaching the MTN8 semi-finals following a 1-0 victory over Orlando Pirates in the quarter-finals last Saturday.  Owen Da Gama will be hoping his charges carry on the momentum and pick up their first win of the 2019/20 Absa Premiership season after they were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Maritzburg United on 9 August. 

Highlands are placed 12th on the log with only one point to their name after opening the campaign with a 3-2 loss to Kaizer Chiefs. Meanwhile, Lidoda Duvha will be hoping their freshness works in their favour, after spending two weeks without competitive football, as they were not participating in the MTN8  last weekend. 

The Venda-based side are searching for their first win of the season after starting the season with consecutive 1-0 losses to both Polokwane City and Kaizer Chiefs. In their meetings last season, the sides played to a thrilling 2-2 stalemate in the first round early at Makhulong Stadium and before playing to a goalless draw in the return fixture.
