Sundowns ,opened up talks with Bafana Bafana

Mamelodi Sundowns have now opened up talks with a Bafana Bafana international as they look to bolster their strikeforce.

Former AFC Bournemouth and Malmo FF forward, Tokelo Rantie, has been training with Masandawana for some time now as he looks to try and get his career back on track following a tough spell in Turkey and with Cape Town City, and it appears that Pitso Mosimane has liked what he’s seen.

Mosimane has spoken highly of the 28-year-old forward in interviews of late, and it did seem likely that he would be offered a deal, talks are officially underway regarding a permanent move to Chloorkop for the South African striker as the involved parties look to hash out a deal.

The fact that Rantie is a free agent currently following his exit from the Citizens last year means that he isn’t governed by the transfer window that slams shut tonight, however the player will no doubt be looking to get a deal done as soon as possible as he looks to sort out his future and get back on the field in 2019/20.
